Talking with Miron made me think about how tightly we hold onto identities we never actually chose. It’s easy to confuse momentum with purpose. But when things start to feel off, we have a choice. We can keep pushing, or we can pause long enough to ask what we actually want. This episode is about that pause. And what happens after.
Three things to think about:
You can outgrow a dream. That doesn’t mean it was wrong. It means you’ve grown.
Early failure might be uncomfortable. But it can speed up the real learning.
Choosing again is not a reset. It’s you making space for the next version of yourself.
Two things to ask yourself:
What are you holding onto just because it’s familiar
What would it look like to disappoint others and still be proud of yourself
One thing to try this week:
Write down one thing you used to want that no longer fits. Then write what you want instead.
Check in after three days. Do you feel more clear or more unsettled

If it resonates, share it with someone who might need a little permission to shift, too.

PS: During a recent long weekend trip, I created a short-form podcast, “It’s Okay If…” Each episode is under three minutes long and provides a permission slip to simply be human. I’d be honored if you subscribed to the show. New episodes are released every Wednesday at noon ET.
